That’s right, these guys could have been curing disease and creating oil spill-munching bugs, but they’re engaged in the far more noble purpose of beefing up our beer to comical levels.

A great article on the 2009 Sam Adams Utopias, the 27% ABV Beer.  The MSRP of these brews is $150, but they are going as high as $250 a bottle online.   Previous years Utopias get upwards of $400 a bottle.

What is your favorite “Cheap” Beer?

In an effort to keep up with the current economic conditions Happy Time Magic Hour is starting a month long (or maybe longer) series on “cheap” beer.

We are kicking off tonight’s show with PBR, which I was able to find at Wegman’s for $0.62 a can (in a 24 pack).

Call us, email us, or comment bellow, what’s your favorite “cheap” brew? Are there any craft brews that come in around $1??? Help us, help you, save some cash in November.
