A Katydid. Commonly green, its pink colour is the result of a genetic mutation known as erythrism, similar to the recessive gene that afflicts albino animals.

Rolobox turns any box into a child’s toy
Ok, this is just brilliant. As a father, I know as well as most of you, that for the first 4 years (possibly longer) of a child’s life, the box is a way better toy than most any gift that comes in it.
So now, for a mere $13.95, you can get a reusable wheel kit that can turn just about any cardboard box into a wagon, car, train or add your own wings for a rolling airplane.
Sure sure, as the kid get heavier he may not be able to ride in the box (not withough some creative support for Dad or Mom) but he/she could still pull around toys, dirt, sticks, stuffed animals, dolls or whatever their little hearts desire.
Come on it’s the rolobox and for $13.95, it’s worth every penny… you know it is.

Downloadable Paper iPhone Dock
Tired of paying the Apple Tax? Sure it can be justified for a premium computer product, even for the world’s best media players, but even I get upset about shelling out $50 or more for iPod docks which are nothing more than glorified iPod Cables.
Well toss your iPod docks into Boston Harbor my friends we finally have an alternative. And it’s an alternative that’s elegant enough that it could have come from Apple itself.
Unplggd (link above) has a downloadable iPod dock. Yes that’s right it’s a download.
Specifically, it’s PDF instructions on how to make the dock pictured above out of cardboard, or some heavy card stock. You just have to supply your iPod Cable.
