  • Interestingly omitted (at least from these earlier launch markets) is Rochester, New York — where the local incumbent phone operator is Frontier, and there’s no Verizon FiOS.

    Rochester, the failed test bed for pay as you go internet by Time Warner, is now being refused both DOCSIS 3.0 upgrades by Time Warner and FiOS Fiber service from Verizon.

    I don’t know exactly how, but I think this is Dick Jauron and the Trend Edwards fault too….

    Scientifically Accurate Warp Spaceship Design
I’m not entirely sure how something like this can be considered scientifically accurate since none of the technology involved exists yet…
But none the less The Discovery Channel is showing off this design on their website, and no doubt it will soon end up in a tv documentary for The Discovery Channel.
