Tired of paying the Apple Tax? Sure it can be justified for a premium computer product, even for the world’s best media players, but even I get upset about shelling out $50 or more for iPod docks which are nothing more than glorified iPod Cables.
Well toss your iPod docks into Boston Harbor my friends we finally have an alternative. And it’s an alternative that’s elegant enough that it could have come from Apple itself.
Unplggd (link above) has a downloadable iPod dock. Yes that’s right it’s a download.
Specifically, it’s PDF instructions on how to make the dock pictured above out of cardboard, or some heavy card stock. You just have to supply your iPod Cable.
